Tony Lamar Miller was born January 7, 1958 in Tyler, Texas to the late T.W. Miller and Eddie Lee Meekins. He attended W.A. Peete Elementary , Hogg Middle School and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1976. Shortly after graduating, Tony Lamar enlisted in the United States Army.

Tony Lamar was preceded in death by his father, T.W. Miller, his beloved mother Eddie Lee Meekins, his aunt Vera Scott and uncles, Morris Meekins, Emmanuel Meekins and Dave Meekins.

Left to cherish his memories are: his sisters, Sheila Miller, Nita Miller, Michelle Johnson and Rochelle Miller as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins , friends and the best fu r ry partner that any man could have , his dog (Taz).
