Walter Ray Brown, Jr. was born to Walter, Sr. and Dorothy Brown on September 6, 1956 in Mineola, Texas. He attended Fouke/Hawkins Elementary and Southside Elementary, Dogan Middle School, and John Tyler High School class of 1975. Walter Jr. was a member of the 1973 State Championship Football Team.

Walter, Jr. attended and graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1978. After graduating from TJC, Walter moved to Houston, Texas to work. Later Walter moved back to Tyler; he was employed at SR Superstore.   Early in life Mr. Brown became a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hawkins, Texas, and later in life he became a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas.

Walter, Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, father; Walter Brown, Sr, mother; Dorothy Brown; nephew; Charles A. Brown II, and niece; Jennifer Butler.

Walter, Jr. is survived by his daughter, Anayla Cooper, brother; Charles (Reshontia)Brown, sister; Carolyn Brown, nieces; Courtney (Troy) Brown Harper, Chassity Brown, Shontavia Mayfield, nephews; Chaundavium Brown, Chadanium Brown, a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
